A good early Platform Light, forged in bronze, with a beautiful Verdi gris patination caused by a damp location such as a castle or a stone Cellar. Early italian around 1800,s converted from gas to electricity. A very well excecuted conversion and now improved with new electrics.
The mask detail on the main body I believe originates from Padua, home to many famous Italian artisans including Micheal Angelo. The height is 50cm and the width is 40 cm.
It has four central lights.
